Whether you wish to pursue hockey or figure skating or just be able to enjoy a social public skate visit with family and friends, Learn to Skate classes at the Nashoba Skating School are the first step to success! Each program provided by NVO teaches skills that encourage basic coordination, balance, and movement in a fun and entertaining atmosphere. Get healthy and skate!

Fall/Winter/Spring 2017-2018 – LTS is offered on Saturdays at 10:45am, 11:30am, and 1:10pm

Our Learn to Skate Classes in Acton/Boxborough are designed for children who have never skated before or who have limited skating experience. It teaches the fun and fundamentals of skating. Using music and games, the program teaches the fundamentals needed to continue on to the next (basic) skill level, and how to interact with other children. The class has five test levels and consists of 30 minutes of group instruction, followed by 15 minutes of practice ice. The minimum age for Learn to Skate is 3 1/2 years old. Skaters must bring their own skates and a helmet to class each week. Private “booster lessons” are available for a $15.00 fee during this 15 minutes and are provided by our coaching staff. Please inquire at the check-in desk if you are interested in adding a private lesson. Rentals are available through Cooke’s Skate Supply located in the rink if arrangements are made prior to the first class time. 978-263-8418
With every LTS registration, you will receive a Public Skating Pass redeemable for 4 public skating sessions good until the end of the session you are registered in.
